Activities and offers in December on Positive Retirement Transitions
Phronetiq is in the early stages of our mission and are excited to get out to share and discuss new ways to do retirement.
As you may know, I have joined Phronetiq as a Retirement Transition Facilitator. I am very excited about being part of this startup with a passion for rethinking what it means to retire and make the transition happen more consciously, compassionately and confidently for all parts. We have a lot of offers as we are coming to the end of the year and in this post I would like to share some of them:
Webinars
You might have missed my presentation and the following discussion on Mindful Aging: Transforming Conversations with Your Retiring Workforce on Linked in last week. We explored amongst other things how inner growth can facilitate outer changes towards a more inclusive, motivated and compassionate work culture – across all ages. Don´t worry, the recording is available here.
Our next one is on November 26, where the founder of Phronetiq Uliana Shchelgacheva will talk about enhancing the HR team's capability to support retiring employees with a toolkit of actionable resources for better retirement preparation.
This webinar provides practical frameworks and tools to help employees explore their retirement options, evaluate potential paths, and reflect on their future with confidence. We'll also address common biases in retirement planning and offer ready-to-use resources for HR to guide meaningful discussions.
Finally on the 11th of December, as the holiday season approaches, and many of us are already thinking about New Year’s resolutions. We know the drill: get fitter, spend more time with loved ones, eat better…
But let’s face it, resolutions are easy to make and hard to keep. Retirement planning is much the same—we know it’s essential, yet we often procrastinate or struggle to take actionable steps.
Join our upcoming webinar for science-backed strategies on turning your plans into meaningful actions. Perfect for those nearing retirement, this session will provide actionable tips to help you stick to your goals. This webinar is lead by Uliana Shchelgacheva who has studied behavioural science at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
Attendees will receive a practical handout to guide their planning steps. Start the year strong—join us, and encourage others in your organization to do the same
Lunch & Learns: From Retirement to Transition
Are you looking at retiring in the foreseeable future? How do you feel about it? Are you prepared? Do you know what it looks like for you? Do you know what the time from now till then looks like?
Retirement is a significant change in your life, yet most people are not ready for it mentally. They ignore it or fear it because of the negative stories society tells us about aging. What if we could turn this mindset around? This Launch and Learn seeks to aspire a positive approach to aging and introduces practical ways to prepare for a deliberate, purposeful and confident retirement transition. It combines science-backed methods in mindfulness and behavioral science for thriving through transitions.
Yes, retirement might be a time to step back from somethings – but what are you stepping forward to? Getting older is mandatory. Growth is optional.
Would you like to offer this L&L to your employees or suggest your company to offer it to you? Please reach out to us. And if you hurry, you can take advantage of our special Christmas offer
Special end-of-the-year offer for L&L for €499 (normal price 599)*
*Has to be booked before the end of the year.
Employee Retirement Transition program
Ok so last point is not specifically for December, but now is a good time to sign up for it. Our next cohort of the Retirement Transition Program starts on the 27th of January
By using a unique combination of behavioral science and mindfulness, our employee Retirement Transitioning Program facilitates improved self-awareness and emotional management as well as the tools to make clear, well-thought decisions, develop plans for retirement, and set goals for a purposeful and happy retirement.
It is a win-win for both employer and employee. These programs are a smart, strategic investment in organisational health. When people know when, how, and why to retire, companies gain more than continuity; they build trust, reduce turnover, and foster a culture where transition is seen as a well-supported journey rather than an endpoint.
For more information, please go to https://www.phronetiq.com/program
Hope you and/or the company you work for might be interested in some of these offers.
With warm regards, Berit
